Kendra Scott is a self-made Philanthropist who started making jewelry in a spare room in her Austin home in 2002 after failing to find affordable, colored gemstone jewelry. Her brand now has more than 115 stores across the U.S. The unique Color Bar allows customers to customize their jewelry with different gems and colors. Shopping at Kendra Scott is always a fun, loving and joyous experience. You know when you step into one of her stores you will leave not only with one-of-a-kind jewelry but a full heart. Thier core values of Family, Fashion, and Philanthropy are truly inspiring.
One of Kendra's main goals in starting a company was the possibility of giving back to her community. The Kendra Cares program brings her unique Color Bar to pediatric hospitals to give kids confidence, hope and an appreciation that they are important and loved. Are you kidding me...She is amazing! In addition, Kendra Scott shares is an event where she donates 20% of the profit right back to nonprofits.
Kendra was once told the greatest thing you could do with your life was to use your talents to improve the lives of others around us. She carries those words with her every day.
